Zakk, Düsseldorf
We’ve played the Zakk many times over the years, and made our Dusseldorf-debut at the AK47 just down the road, so this is familiar ground for us.
Ferocious heatwave and mid-show thunderstorm nonewithstanding, I think last night was my favourite German show so far; we played well (probably due to the storm clearing up the ozone or something), the crowd was in the zone and … I dunno. It just felt good! 577 tour debut.
One chance left to top this one at Conne Island in Leipzig tonite. That is usually splendid, so we’ll see…

After Bielefeld, Nijmegen, Freak Valley and Heidelberg this was my last show for this time…and the 2nd for my son Ben (14).
Since the Freak Valley show you already have a new fan, but especially after this show where Kenneth gave him one of his drumsticks at the end of the concert …and he also got his setlist.
And than this 2,5 hour drive home for 40 km.
What an experience for a little drummer boy!
I’m sure he will never forget this night!
Thanks again for 5 great and totally different shows.
