MOTOR PSYCHO - New Single Core Memory Corrupt

Sometimes, it feels imperative to forge ahead. Other times it feels more prescient to embrace one’s former selves and reacquaint oneself with patterns of old. And sometimes these two artistic impulses actually (in modern parlance) mash up, and it feels like one’s walking backwards into the future.

On such occasions, some sound or notion will often bring back sensory memories of one kind or another. The ‘I know this’, knowing it’s brand new. Deja vu. Or rather, a sense of something missing, some vital part of the puzzle. Who were you? Did we even kiss?

Core Memory Corrupt is what the school computer used to say when you wanted it to do something. Anything. Some days I can totally relate.
