A cool thing that has been growing quietly in the background is the Motorpsycho Database. It was online before, disappeared for a while, and is now back in full force, now also incorporating the Motorpsychodelic Clips archive.
This is an ever-expanding archive of our live history – concerts, setlists, stats, and all kinds of nerdy details from gigs across the years. The whole database thingie is put together by Dennis, a long-time Psychonaut who clearly has far too much patience and dedication on his hands… in the best possible way.
Bernie’s Motorpsychodelic Clips archive is completely merged into the database as well, meaning that the live video material now lives alongside the gigs themselves. So when you browse a show you might also find clips from that night, which makes the whole thing feel even more alive.
Also when you look for a clip, all the data from the specific gig is available for you.
The idea behind it all is simple: to collect as much of the live history as possible in one place; the shows, the songs, the oddities, the statistics, and the memories. If you’ve ever wondered when a certain song was last played, which gigs had the longest sets, or where some rare tune suddenly popped up, chances are you’ll find it there.
It’s a proper deep dive for anyone interested in the strange and wonderful journey Motorpsycho has been on for decades now.
WOW! THANK YOU!
